Things have gotten out of hand in our public schools and I’m running for school board to help heal the harm that’s been done.

Four things supporters should know about me as a candidate

, I am:

An Outsider

you can trust to put students and families first…. Not a career educator beholden to unions and special interests. I support education freedom and believe we should fund children, not systems and that parents should be the ones making the majority of decisions. I will: Empower decision making in family rooms, not school board rooms.

Physician and healer:

This board could have really used a TRUSTED medical professional to weigh in on medical issues. After two difficult years, it’s time to heal and move forward. It’s a mind for science and a heart for service to the individual that sets me apart as a candidate. I will: have the courage to accurately diagnose problems and do what’s in the best interest of student success.

A teacher and mentor:

As an adjunct professor leading residency rounds, I know how rewarding it is to teach and pour yourself into students and see them grow. I have tremendous respect for great teachers and I will: work to reward our best teachers and make sure they have all the tools they need by spending more money in our classrooms and less on overhead and bureaucrats.

The most important thing to know about me is that I am a

FATHER of three young children who cares

about students, families, and the future of this great nation. I don’t need this job and will be donating my salary to different charities, but I would be truly honored if you allowed me the privilege of serving on the school board. I humbly ask for your support and your vote in the August 23^rd School Board General Election. With only two candidates in the race, there is no run-off in November.
